A unique dance event. One evening more than 800 dancers gathered on the seashore and made a live 7km long chain,began to dance in one second and light up the lights as a symbol of hope for the future.
To accomplish the goal, we created a unique dance event. One evening more than 800 dancers gathered on the seashore and performed an original dance created specially for this event. During the sunset,the participants made a live 7km long chain, began to dance in one second and light up the lights as a symbol of hope for the future.
The event joined 4 generations. 90% of dancers had no prior knowledge of the dance. The youngest dancer was only 1,but the oldest was 80.
At the event,each participant turned from consumer into a creator of content. Their dance skill and involvement affected the result.
To promote the accessibility the access to the event was free. The event was realised with 0 budget by persuading people to work with no reward.
Challenges? Only a few. How to simultaneously sound music through 7kilometres,how to signal to start dancing at the same time, etc. Different innovative tools were created: web pages, application, timers, online sound and registration systems etc
