An unexpected and striking art installation to alert the French to the dangers of using the telephone while driving.
We created “Vies Brisées” (“Shattered Lives”), a hard-hitting exhibition made in collaboration with the artist Simon Berger, renowned for his portraits made of shattered glass.
On the screens of 5 monumental smartphones (2.5m high) installed on the Place de la République in Paris, the artist revealed, by breaking the glass with his hammer, the faces of road victims, killed in the middle of a conversation. These intense portraits in shattered glass, applied to smartphones, instantly evoke the shock of the accident, the shattered windscreens and the lives that are forever changed.
