TEDinArabic, held 18th – 19th March 2023 was a joint initiative between TED and Qatar Foundation and TED’s first initiative to amplify solutions, inventions & stories from Arabic-speaking communities.
The concept was to create a unique and vibrant summit thriving with interactive experiences and activities highlighting the importance and the benefit of an Arabic platform for ideas, and its relevance to the international community using the theme of “The Butterfly Effect” as the creative foundation for the design of the required spaces, showcases and attendee journey.
At the heart of the summit: community engagement and involvement featuring interactive workshops, collaborative art installations, exhibitions, educational content, a unique live culinary experience and more, curated and contributed by Arabic-speaking communities from across the world, creating a festive celebration inspiring and empowering audiences to create positive change through relatable stories of Arabic-speaking communities, artists, thinkers and leaders.
