Austria 4 Life was one of the most extraordinary charity events in Austria’s history. The goal of helping people in need brought together hundreds of Artists and culminated in a big tv spectacle.
Our plan was to raise awareness through innovative and spectacular storytelling. Together with Gery Keszler, the founder of the legendary AIDS benefit event „Life Ball“, we initiated the extraordinary idea of developing an interdisciplinary live action theater show – not on any regular stage – but at the doorstep of the world famous Viennese Schönbrunn castle. To do this incredible location justice and to get as much engagement and donations as possible we needed a storyline that hit deep. We came up with a show that focused on pivotal moments in Austria’s history and journey from a monarchy towards democracy. Set in a historical context, a 90-minute multimedia spectacle unfolded, featuring the participation and support of over 150 national and international AAA artists from the realms of theater, opera, dance, music, and acting. The likes of Anna Netrebko, Cesar Sampson, Doretta Carter, Wanda and many more.
