Italian Pavilion at EXPO Dubai 2020, from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022.
6 months of events and initiatives with the aim of spreading the Made in Italy through the central themes of Expo.
The exhibition itinerary included solutions and installations showing innovation and sustainability, making the Pavilion the first one in history to obtain an ISO2012 certificate. The circular structure was made of recycled and recyclable raw materials to entertain and prompt reflection during the visit.
The facade was made of more than two million recycled plastic bottles. Not only did it contribute to a strong scenic impact, but it also allowed to cool the interior without using an air conditioning system.
The Pavilion hosted hundreds of initiatives: from climate to space, from urban development to the promotion of intercultural dialogue, and challenges like innovation and digitalisation in health, agriculture, and the blue economy.
