The Event

After several years of pandemic, the Davis Cup is returning to Madrid. What’s more, Xiaomi will be an official sponsor for the first time. We also want to launch a new model of smartphone.

We created The Impossible Match, in which we pitted a tennis legend, Carlos Moyá, against an intelligent virtual tennis court. Using the latest mapping technology, the court was modified, creating new scenarios and challenges fit for the pros. What’s more, this thrilling match gave members of the audience the chance to take on Moyá themselves. We brought in the original trophy “La ensaladera” and held a product exhibition. We finished the event in style as the court transformed once again, this time turning into a dance floor for a post-match party.
