A VR-experience to support rare disease SLE therapy. The live journey is a digital event for patient and doctors, not only to grasp the disease, but it has a therapeutic effect by understanding it.
We created the VR experience as a digitally walkable space for multiuser experience as well as a single user application that can be explored alone. Often doctors and patients use it together a a digital event. The idea is to welcome the patient in a comfortable surrounding. The virtaul avatar of the doctor allows to directly interact with the patient. It does not matter if they are in the same room. Theoretically an expert in Erlangen can invite a patient in New Zealand.
To understand the disease better, certain scapes and virtual locations have been created and a dramaturgy which patiuent and doctor experience together.
