The world premiere of the all-electric SKODA ENYAQ COUPÉ iV was not only a car reveal, but also a film premiere. A unique cinematic experience to enyoy in a stream or in decentralized live events.
Instead of using the old premiere routines with extensive keynotes and an overload of technical details we chose for a cinematic approach to create a holistic emotional narrative.
The centrepiece was a movie featuring the creators of the vehicle – SKODA’s CEO, CTO and Head of Design – as main protagonists. However, we did not depict them in their usual official representative functions, but showed them from their private side. Along with their personal passions – making them approachable personalities.
Besides this emotional impact in storytelling we gave the hybrid event a special twist by decentralizing it all over Europe – enabling several press-exclusive live events in 7 European markets. So, in addition to the precisely tailored playout on the various channels, press representatives were invited to experience the premiere synchronously in a stream onsite in a local cinema – with popcorn, drinks and the main protagonist live on site: the new SKODA ENYAQ COUPÉ iV.
