For the 2023 Dubai World Cup Closing Ceremony, AIM delivered an electrifying, emotive post-race event to celebrate horse racing, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai and the UAE
AIM created a spectacular closing ceremony of grand dimensions to epitomize the prestige of the Dubai World Cup race in a “never-before-seen” event, by:
– Orchestrating 1900 drones forming famous city landmarks and people to tell the story of Dubai
– Setting two Guinness World Records for the largest aerial image of a flag and of a logo formed by multirotors/drones
– Paying tribute to the evolution of horse racing under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, via imagery displayed on a massive LED screen measuring over 1,400 square meters
– Augmented Reality in the live broadcast, featuring content celebrating the UAEs recent success sending an astronaut to the International Space Station
– Engaging and meaningful content that spoke to the vision of the event and paid homage to the aspects to be celebrated
– Narrative to accompany the content in both Arabic voice-over and English subtitles
– Curated and original music featuring the Dubai World Cup sonic
