FIFA Fan Festival™ was the single official fan zone for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, operating from 19 Nov – 18 Dec 2022 as a unique festival destination entertaining over 1.9M fans.
Our brand new concept completely re-imagined the idea of a fan destination and festival experience set to entertain more than 1.9 Million visitors over a full month with an unprecedented variety of fan engagement, entertainment and sports activities.
The concept was developed to provide multi-directional, engaging event with a highly interactive visitor journey, offering a multitude of attractions and innovative experiences.
The custom-designed main stage set in front of Doha’s iconic skyline featured thousands of sqm of state-of-the-art LED screens, AV + Lighting and special FX. Highly engaging activations were created, including a first-of-its-kind Fan World Cup tournament held in parallel to the FIFA World Cup, traditional Qatari games converted into football-themed competitions, two global food villages, hospitality spaces, e-sports, community and stakeholder activities, displays and exhibition spaces for arts and culture, interactive brand activations, playgrounds and much more.
