Adapting The Pillars of the Earth into a musical was an artistic challenge and an opportunity to innovate from the ground up. We turned a lengthy novel into a two-hour show with a 360-degree experience that began before audience members even entered the theater. We opted for a large-scale, original production with 100% Spanish talent and craftsmanship and an immersive narrative that broke the fourth wall. Every action, from the sensory presentation in a medieval church to a scavenger hunt through Madrid and a massive premiere with Ken Follett as a guest, was designed to excite, surprise, and connect. We created not just a musical but also a cultural event that showcases Spanish creativity on par with Broadway.
