Ukraine has been living through the largest war of the 21st century for four years. Millions have left, hundreds of thousands are fighting, and those who remain live under daily attacks. Young people emigrate, universities are emptying, the workforce is shrinking, and depression prevails. In this harsh reality, UNIT.City created a ray of hope — the Innovators Summit, a cinematic show-conference with the tagline “Look what’s happening!”. On stage we present the country’s most passionate and gifted people — innovators, entrepreneurs, scientists, athletes, artists, volunteers, and veterans — who share what they are building and creating even now. The goal is to show that Ukraine is full of talent, opportunities, and progress, while also expanding the national visibility and reputational capital of UNIT.City as Eastern Europe’s largest innovation park.
The creative core of the Innovators Summit lay in the innovators themselves. Instead of relying on “famous names,” we searched across Ukraine for people truly reshaping the country. Each appeared not just as a speaker, but as the protagonist of a crafted story. A millionaire biotech entrepreneur creating life-saving medicines and scouting young talent to launch startups. A schoolteacher turned top TikTok creator who finds a genuine language with pupils, building trust and improving education. A military psychologist who developed a unique PTSD recovery method for veterans and now shares it globally. A director building a comic universe of folklore heroes so Ukrainian children grow up with ideals of love for their country. A historian restoring manor houses through crowdfunding. A poet sharing the art of original songwriting. A theatre-rock band fusing drama and music. Each story was staged with cinematic care, turning the Summit into a live anthology of breakthrough ideas.
