12 drawings from Leonardo da Vinci’s Codex Atlanticus on display for the first time in the United States on the occasion of the inauguration of the Confindustria headquarters in Washington.
Confindustria’s project, a monographic exhibition on Leonardo da Vinci, is a symbol of the innovativeness and know-how of our enterprises. It is the brainchild of Daniele Nepoti, Director of Piccola Industria, and an initiative of the Brand Communication and Events office directed by Alessia Magistroni. The occasion is the inauguration of the new Confindustria headquarters in Washington, a fundamental step within the broader project “Confindustria in the world”, whose objective is to extend Italian entrepreneurial representation well beyond national borders. On display are twelve drawings from Leonardo’s Atlantic Codex selected by Monsignor Rocca, director of the Venerando Biblioteca Ambrosiana, which include the famous designs on mechanics, engineering and flight.
