As sponsor, Budweiser saw an opportunity to give the global stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup to over 100 artists from over 20 countries with BUDX: a multiple day creator and hospitality experience.
We embarked on the biggest integrated undertaking in the sponsorship’s history, combining: merch, branded content, experiential, retail and hospitality – all under the ‘The World Is Yours’ inspirational mantra and BUDX collaborator platform
For 5 days of creator-fuelled experiences, we selected 100+ influential artists across 18 global markets for Budweiser for the BUDX platform to generate significant media
The W Hotel and Club were transformed to create the Budweiser Hotel and the Bud World Club – playing host to 500= guests.
The Budweiser Hotel was a creative hotel takeover, designed to encourage ‘over-posting’ – and the Budweiser Club was home to some of the tournament’s hottest live performances.
As the centerpiece of BUDX Doha, Budweiser partnered with renowned rapper, Lil Baby, to film “The World Is Yours To Take” music video – a throwback to the legendary Tears for Fears anthem, doubling as the brand’s global soundtrack & filmed for the first time during the FIFA World Cup
