Opening & closing ceremonies of the Total African Nations Championships held in Cameroon in January and February 2021, a live event during the pandemic, but with audience and performers.
The colorful opening ceremony included around 500 Cameroonians artists, dancers, performers who delivered an impressive 20-minutes show tinged with local tradition and African culture. The pitch was decked out in a massive colorful African cloth with dancers thumping the floor in various dress cultures of the country showcasing the 4 main cultural areas, amid huge firework display.
Cameroonian singers Stanley Enow and Jane Mary Ihims performed during this ceremony which was attended by dignitaries such as Cameroon Prime Minister Joseph Ngute and FIFA President Gianni lnfantino.
The dynamic closing ceremony was a combination of music and passion. It featured popular artists such as Nabila and Maahlox including some amazing dance performances and creative led totems visual supports. The Cameroonian football legend Rigobert Song installed the trophy on the field before that an impressive fireworks grand final ended the show.
