Charity relay run (Warsaw, Kraków, and virtual) engaging companies and families to raise funds for mobility-impaired people and women after mastectomy.
Poland Business Run 2025, organized by Poland Business Run Foundation, aimed to merge corporate participation with a strong social mission: raising funds for people with mobility impairments and women after mastectomy. The charity relay format encouraged teamwork, promoted healthy lifestyles, and inspired companies to strengthen CSR commitments. Participants were expected to leave with pride, knowing their effort financed rehabilitation, prostheses, and psychological care. After the event, they were encouraged to continue supporting the Foundation, advocate inclusivity at work, and embrace the spirit of collective action. The 14th edition of this event was organized in two formulas: a stationary relays in Warsaw (August 31th) and Krakow (September 6-7th) and a virtual competition from anywhere in the world (September 1st-7th). Teams ran in 5-person relay teams, each competitor had to cover a distance of 4 kilometers. PBR is the largest charity business run in Poland.
The creative concept was to merge a mass sports event with a charity mechanism in a way that scales nationally and globally. The innovation lay in its hybrid model: two large live events (Warsaw & Kraków), complemented by a virtual edition allowing tens of thousands worldwide to run simultaneously, upload results, and feel part of one cause. Additionally “Help More” campaign let companies creatively compete in fundraising, not only running. Formats like PBR Walk (team recreational walk in Krakow) and PBR Kids (children’s races on 3 distances, in 3 age categories) expanded inclusivity, transforming the race into a family event. Live timing and donation tracking made participation easy, transparent and measurable. This mix of sport, charity, family engagement and digital innovation positioned PBR uniquely among Polish charity runs.
