Mediterranean Leg of the Vespucci Tour: nine stops, nine “Villaggi IN Italia” bringing to life the values of Made in Italy, culture, inclusion and innovation.
The Mediterranean Leg of the Amerigo Vespucci World Tour aimed to transform the Ship’s return to Italy into an opportunity for encounter, awareness, and collective growth. Through the “Villaggi IN Italia”, Ninetynine promoted culture, health, and inclusion as drivers of cohesion and participation. Free and open cultural activities enhanced Italy’s artistic, scientific, and human heritage, fostering dialogue among territories, institutions, and citizens. Health initiatives spread a culture of prevention and healthy lifestyles in collaboration with scientific bodies and associations. Social initiatives, developed with the Italian Minister for Disabilities and the Third Sector, placed participation, equality, and accessibility at the center. An event that united experiences, languages, and people in a shared narrative of awareness and future.
The Mediterranean Leg of the Amerigo Vespucci World Tour transformed its Italian stops into a collective narrative of culture, inclusion, and innovation. In the “Villaggi IN Italia”, set up in nine Italian cities, exhibitions, talks, installations, and experiential activities made the values of Made in Italy and scientific research accessible to everyone. Each stop became a social and cultural laboratory where institutions, citizens, and associations came together to share best practices and experiences. Innovation lay in the approach: accessible spaces, events integrated with digital communication, prevention activities, inclusive sports, and art initiatives. A hybrid format between an institutional event and a social platform, capable of connecting different worlds and generating awareness, participation, and positive impact on the community.
