On August 20, the Journée des Oubliés des Vacances brought together in Paris 40,000 children from France and abroad for visits, activities, sports and concerts to celebrate the 80th anniversary of SPF
In 2025, Secours Populaire celebrates its 80th anniversary.
Secours Populaire has always placed childhood at the heart of its work, considering that, at all times and in all places, children are the first victims of injustice.
Holidays, essential as they are, are also a right. Yet today, one in three children still does not go on holiday. Secours Populaire is taking action to ensure that no one is left out of holidays That is the final purpose of this event.
To this end Secours Populaire created the « The Day for Children Forgotten by Holidays ». An event gathering tens of thousands of children from across France to enjoy a dream day of holidays in Paris, filled with memories to cherish and share at school.
In the meantine, this event was a huge leverage to highlight the injustice of not going on holiday, generate media coverage, social medias conversations and to fundraise.

To meet Secours Populaire’s ambition, the agency created the concept of “Vacances de Ouf” (“Crazy Holidays”), instantly appealing to children and promising an unforgettable day.
– The concept was built around five pillars:
– A crazy holiday destination: a total Paris takeover to immerse children in the cultural and historical richness of the city through visits to iconic sites.
– A crazy visual identity: a graphic universe designed with and for children, co-created with them to reflect their imagination.
– A crazy program: letting children live “1001 stories” in a single day through activities, concerts, and giant games.
– A crazy commitment: gathering 10 000 volunteers including 200 event production experts to make this day possible.
– A crazy partnership program: creating strong collaborations with public services and companies to fund and contribute to the event’s production.
