International radiology congress & industry exhibition for imaging professionals, focused on science, innovation & networking, connected through the cohesive storyline of PLANET RADIOLOGY.
Our main goal was to position ECR as one of the leading global radiology congress, driving abstract submissions, registrations, and exhibition bookings. Therefore designed a unique, immersive 5-day event with a connected storyline to engage attendees and highlight their role in the bigger narrative. Each day—from the opening and VR experiences to plenary lectures, the charity gala, and closing party—revealed a new “puzzle piece,” weaving exhibitors and scientific sessions into the story. With a focus on sustainability and planetary health, we encouraged imaging professionals to adopt sustainable practices in their daily work. The event reinforced ECR’s position as the unmissable, innovation-driving congress in medical imaging.
We brought PLANET RADIOLOGY to life by creating a fully immersive planet in Unreal Engine, with dynamic fauna and flora spanning deep seas, jungles, savannas, and skies across the venue levels. LED panels, 3D animation, motion capture, and AI made the environment interactive and guided attendees through the space. Gaia – Mother Earth – was personified, appearing in the opening to inspire sustainability and anchoring a unique VR experience that blended storytelling, nature documentary, and music. This innovative concept transported attendees to another world, making science and sustainability tangible and memorable.
