The Event

A breathtaking Olympic Closing Ceremony — a grand French Touch show uniting sport, culture, and music in a dazzling celebration of the Games. Paris est une fête.

The goal was to create a powerful, emotional Closing Ceremony that celebrated Paris’s identity while embodying the Olympic values of excellence, creativity, and unity. Paris 2024 sought to reinforce its global image as a pioneer of sustainable, inclusive, and artistically ambitious events. The ceremony aimed to honor athletes as symbols of resilience and collaboration, inspire audiences worldwide, and strengthen emotional connection to the Olympic movement. Participants and viewers were invited to feel pride, wonder, and belonging—seeing Paris not only as host, but as a storyteller bridging cultures. Post-event, the desired outcome was lasting engagement: a renewed sense of optimism, respect for diversity, and recognition of France’s creative leadership on the world stage.

A Dazzling Celebration of Unity and Emotion
The Paris 2024 Closing Ceremony was a spectacular tribute to the Olympic spirit, blending art, culture, and innovation on a 2,800m² stage symbolizing the five continents. Featuring six giant LED screens, Olympic rings, and a floating piano, it became a living canvas of unity and creativity.
Instead of traditional dancers, 110 acrobats, parkour artists, and circus performers filled the stadium with breathtaking energy. 65,000 LED wristbands lit up in harmony with 800 lighting fixtures and 2,500 special effects, creating an immersive atmosphere.
The emotional journey began at the Louvre with a musical escort for the Olympic flame, culminating in a cinematic handover to Los Angeles 2028 starring Tom Cruise. With an original score and groundbreaking staging, Paris 2024 ended in a powerful celebration of sport, culture, and human connection.
