The Event

During the World Cup with 32 teams from all FIFA confederations, Miami hosted the opening “A new era begins” and New Jersey the closing “United as one,” with sold-out stadiums and global viewership

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025™, hosted in the United States, marked the first edition of a new global club tournament, redefining the pinnacle of club football. Featuring 32 teams from all six FIFA confederations, the competition unfolded across 63 matches to crown the first champion of a new era.
The Opening and Closing Ceremonies, held at Miami Hard Rock Stadium on 14 June and New Jersey MetLife Stadium on 13 July, celebrated this historic moment. Designed to establish a bold identity for the tournament, we introduced an iconic protocol to ignite enthusiasm and unite diverse football cultures under the inclusive passion of the game. We also gave the United States a stage to welcome the world ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, immersing audiences—in stadium and at home—in an atmosphere of joyful anticipation.

The Ceremonies were conceived as protocol milestones as well as artistic spectacles, designed to set an epic tone for the FIFA Club World Cup from kickoff to finale. Music, dance, stagecraft, and special effects brought to life by world-class talents created powerful shared experiences. The Opening, “A New Era Begins”, unfolded in seven acts, celebrating the historic and global dimension of the tournament, symbolically endorsed by President Infantino, who accepted the idea of the FIFA Grande Crest as a central protocol element. The Closing, “United as One – The Pillars of the Game”, was built around the values of One Dream, One Goal, One Champion, One Legacy, honoring ambition and triumph while sealing the first champion of this new era with a vibrant, spectacular show.
