Bolt United was an internal event for a company that is growing rapidly in Europe and Africa. The objective was to bring all key employees together and highlight the importance of quality teamwork.
Main goals for the event:
– Bring the team closer together and show them the importance of teamwork.
– Make real-life connections between team members who work together but, due to the internationality of the company, haven’t seen each other before.
– Highlight the company’s values, and make sure everyone’s on board – even the newest employees.
– Update everyone about the company’s mission, goals, and biggest achievements.
The creativity of this project stands on the smart connections between the objective of the event + the company’s values and people + the parallels found in sports.
The solution was fully based on Bolt’s internal culture and people.
We wanted to create a new legacy in Bolt that brings people together.
Coming up with the idea, we thought about what is the one thing that brings people together, no matter the country, background, or job position?
Sports.
You’re always there for your team – no matter if it rains or snows.
To highlight working together for the same goal, we created a custom sports game. The Ultimate Badgers Cup or The UBC.
And we were bold enough not to make it vanilla – if a company values fearlessness and toughness, we needed to showcase it.
The event was called Bolt United – inspired by the world’s best sports teams.
To physically showcase unitedness, we used a cruise ship as one of the main venues for the 2-day event.
