Internal company summit combining conference, hackathon and team-building experiences to deepen Veriff’s culture, connect employees with their product and celebrate innovation.
The Veriff Summit set out to break the mold of corporate events – no big show, no celebrities, just one bold mission: to turn the company’s own technology into the experience itself.
Instead of chasing spectacle, the goal was to rediscover the extraordinary within the ordinary – the people, the product, and the purpose that make Veriff what it is. The mission was to strengthen the company’s culture by reconnecting every employee – from engineer to CEO – with Veriff’s core product and purpose: building trust in the digital world.
The event aimed to transform knowledge and celebration into hands-on experiences using Veriff’s own technology. By gamifying the product through a maze, hackathon, and interactive installations, participants didn’t just hear about innovation – they felt it.
The expected impact: a stronger sense of pride and belonging, and a lasting shift in mindset – from simply working at Veriff, to building Veriff together.
The creative concept flipped the traditional company event inside out – instead of looking outward for entertainment, Veriff’s own technology became the star. The entire summit was built on Veriff’s products, repurposed in ways never intended before:
– Guests entered through a biometric identification tunnel, turning identity verification into an immersive welcome moment.
– The Veriff Maze, co-created with company engineers, transformed product features into an escape-room-style adventure that encouraged teamwork and problem-solving.
– A Hackathon challenged employees to innovate in real time, resulting in 13 new AI ideas, including Compass Bot – now part of Veriff’s daily operations.
– Even entertainment became interaction, with a quirky age estimation booth powered by Veriff.
This was not an event about innovation – it was innovation experienced – and built by the people behind it.
