Co-located with MWC Barcelona, Talent Arena is an immersive event driving innovation, connecting digital talent, companies, and education, while fostering global learning and collaboration.
Co-located with the Mobile World Congress Barcelona, the world’s largest and most influential annual event dedicated to the connectivity ecosystem, Talent Arena was launched in 2025. Its objective is to bring together those driving innovation in the sector—digital talent, companies, and educational institutions—providing a space to enhance technological skills, expand networks, and stay at the forefront of digital transformation.
Talent Arena integrates the educational and business communities, connects corporate and academic leaders with world-class digital experts, and consolidates Barcelona as a global hub for innovation and digital talent. It also promotes diversity and inclusion, ensuring opportunities for people from different backgrounds and profiles; fosters European talent in key areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, quantum computing, and digital sustainability; and encourages sustainable practices in the organization of large-scale technology events.
We built our creative concept around the insight that MWC is a trade fair largely for big tech brands & targeted at a professional audience. Our aim was to democratize the event & open it to a younger more diverse audience with a focus on digital tech talent with our design concept reflecting this approach.
The design was a visually striking, cutting-edge aesthetic inspired by cyberpunk. Utilizing the 20,000m² of Pavilion 8 at Fira Montjuïc, the aim was to immerse attendees in an open environment that fused technology & urban culture. This aesthetic not only created a distinctive atmosphere but also reflected the intersection of both worlds.
The creative approach broke away from traditional corporate visuals. By adopting intergenerational visual codes, the event positioned young talent as the protagonists of change, reinforcing that the digital future is not only technical but also cultural, & should be imagined through new forms of expression that resonate with emerging generation.
