The Event

A global digital-first celebration of Randstad’s 65th anniversary, uniting 43,000 employees across 39 countries to spark pride, grow a digital mindset, and bring ‘Together We Grow’ to life.

Traditionally, Randstad marked every five years with a large physical gathering. For the 65th anniversary, they deliberately chose a digital-first event to mark a new chapter: shifting from a people-focused approach to fostering a stronger digital mindset.
The objectives were clear: celebrate 65 years of impact, create pride, and reaffirm values and strategy while embedding the EVP ‘Together We Grow’. The planned impact was to strengthen global unity and inspire employees to embrace digital ways of working as a driver of growth. Participants were encouraged to connect, experience the values in action, and see how their growth contributes to collective success. The event aimed to shift attitudes from tradition to innovation, turning celebration into motivation for future-proof behaviour.

The concept foundation goes back to Frits Goldschmeding, Randstad’s founder, who believed that truly knowing people creates meaningful connections. The same goes for Randstad emloyees. When you know your colleagues better, the whole organization grows stronger.
This idea came to life through three custom developed digital activations
Spot the Strength, a playful word game introducing Randstad’s new behaviours; Shout Out Songs, a simple yet impactful AI tool that turned recognition into music; Share & Connect, a platform where colleagues shared professional skills and personal hobbies, enhanced by AI-generated SkillCards.
Together, these activations combined storytelling, gamification, and technology to build energy and pride worldwide, culminating in local celebrations on 29 September 2025. In doing so, Randstad not only celebrated 65 years of impact but also shifted from traditional events to digital innovation, bringing the EVP Together We Grow to life in a festive, human-centered wa
