Night 1: we deployed the orchestra not just between speeches, but harnessing event themes with bespoke musical scores around film/content. Opening with “The Dark Knight” created an impact that drew guests into the auditorium. Among several orchestral pieces, we punctuated “Hacienda”, a medley of 90s classic dance songs with Yasmine Bitar, a Saudi singer laying vocals in English and Arabic over the medley.
Night 2 saw Geocentrics performing jazz during the Gala Dinner with Nile Rogers and Chic bringing a crescendo to the evening with a performance of his biggest catalogue of hits. Supporting the end of both evenings, Madmoiselle Sabah DJ’d into the early hours to keep the party going.
