The Event

Invitation-only relaunch of Ferragamo’s timeless Ballerina: three intimate ballet sessions inside an iconic São Paulo private mansion, fusing fashion, dance, and design.

Ferragamo set out to re-present its most enduring icon—the Ballerina—at a moment of brand transformation in Brazil. The goal: make the classic feel newly coveted, deepen relationships with media and cultural tastemakers, and generate disproportionate earned attention without paid advocacy.
The concept “A New Chapter” guests to discover the shoe through a house-opening: moving from welcome to three micro-performances and a celebratory finale. Success metrics focused on the quality of attendance and experience (intimacy, immersion), reputation and conversation (press/social output, EMV), and relationship signals (time on site, post-event content, partner goodwill). In short: stage a modern, elegant relaunch that affirms Ferragamo’s position as a leader in luxury and creativity—classic yet current.

We took the launch out of the store and ballet out of the theatre. By opening the private residence of Count Chiquinho Scarpa, the brand “opened its house” to tell the Ballerina story with intimacy and audacity.
The mansion became the stage: a rehearsal-style set with barres and a minimal black floor in a gallery-like salon, sculpted in Ferragamo red light. A bespoke library photo set—arched neon, stacked red boxes—turned brand codes into an irresistible social backdrop. The evening unfolded as a three-act narrative (Welcome ? Ballet Sessions ? Grand Finale), each act revealing a new layer of craft, movement, and elegance. Pre-visualisation in 3D ensured sightlines, pacing, and guest flow worked flawlessly, translating couture restraint into experiential precision.
