The Event

Yuuki 2.0 drives Takeda’s transformation with live events and digital formats—using AI, storytelling, and “Dare to Share” to foster learning, collaboration, and sustainable innovation.

The Yuuki2.0 transformation journey at Takeda set out to rethink how organizations learn, collaborate, and innovate with AI. The first live event focused on collaboration and learning, introducing employees to AI in a playful, inclusive way through storytelling and gamification. Building on this foundation, the process leading to the second major event in 2025 aimed to generate greater efficiency by “daring and sharing”: employees identified real challenges, co-created AI-driven solutions, and shared them across the company via the new Dare to Share platform. This approach fostered a culture of knowledge exchange, efficiency through collaboration, and sustainable innovation. By combining live events, digital formats, and the avatar Yuuki as guide and co-moderator, the campaign created a transformative experience that continues to drive AI adoption and cultural change at Takeda.

The creative core of Yuuki2.0 was an AI-powered avatar who became part of the team and guided participants through live and digital formats. In the first event, she introduced AI with playful learning formats like an escape room to foster openness and collaboration. For the second milestone, creativity took center stage through the story of a young samurai facing a powerful demon. To win, he had to embody the traits of animals—visualized with AI and linked to company functions: raccoon, rabbit, tiger. This immersive storytelling highlighted the strengths of each function and showed how everyone can learn from each other. Technological innovation made Yuuki appear “live” from Microsoft Teams with motion tracking, video, and content integration, creating a seamless hybrid stage presence. The newly introduced Dare to Share platform turned the story into action, enabling participants to co-create AI-driven solutions and share them company-wide, merging creativity with efficiency.
