The Event

The client aimed to bring back audiovisual events during Christmas in Seville, which historically attracted large crowds to the city center.

The client aimed to bring back audiovisual events during Christmas in Seville, which historically attracted large crowds to the city center. Their main request was to move the show to the area around the Guadalquivir River to promote a pedestrian-friendly and accessible space.

Another request from the client was that the content should be Christmas-themed, and family-oriented. We needed to design a show connected to the city’s history, appealing to children, yet enjoyable for all audiences

We proposed transforming the river into a stage, where cutting-edge techniques would bring to life a scene featuring a 120-meter canvas on the wall, 3 water screens and the river’s surface as part of the spectacle. The whole environment became an immersive, multi-layered stage, orchestrated using innovative technologies.

Acciona Cultura managed the entire process, from design and content creation to technical development, and daily operation.
The client requested Christmas-themed, family-friendly content, leading us to create a captivating story rooted in the city’s history, engaging audiences of all ages.

The audiovisual experience featured 3D compositions, original soundtrack, voice-overs and sound effects. We used 13 projectors and 13 high-performance laser emitters to deliver vivid, dynamic visuals. For lighting, 100 robotic spotlights, both in the sky and on the water. To enhance the experience, we added 9 flamethrowers, synchronized with the choreography, amplifying key moments
