A celebration of completion event hosted by the Chairman of Etihad Rail HH Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan with HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashed Al Maktoum as the guest of honour.
The main goal of the event was to allow the product and client to take centre stage. To offer guests an opportunity to see the true scale of the project and to allow the Etihad Rail locomotives to be the true heroes. It was clear from the start that the event needed to be hosted as close to the locomotives and operational depot of Etihad Rai as possible. The next task was to establish a platform from which we could reveal the locomotives to the audience. The event itself was held within a bespoke built for purpose structure. The structure itself housed an experiential pre-function area and auditorium for up to 800 guests. The main stage was wrapped with an automated screen system that led our audience through to a presentation platform where projection mapping, lighting and a bespoke soundtrack create a sonnets luminaire as a crescendo to the event. The future passenger train took centre stage and allowed our audience to board and inspect the future of rail transport in the Emirates.
