Salvatore Sagone

Biography

Salvatore Sagone is co-founder and president of ADC Group, a media holding company. The group includes the communication news agencies ADVexpress and e20express, Nuova Comunicazione and e20 magazines, and the I Quaderni della Comunicazione reading series. In 2006 he launched the Best Event Awards, that are now acknowledged as the main international events award. In 2014 the Awards evolved to the International Festival of Events and Live Communication, and to a worldwide competition, involving 40 countries so far. 

Salvatore also organizes other Awards and initiatives dedicated to the Italian communication and event market, such as the Italian Best Event Awards, NC Awards, NC Digital Awards, Branded Content & Entertainment Awards. 

Born in 1960, Salvatore has been a professional journalist since 1991. He graduated in Literature and Philosophy and has worked in specialized communications publishing, media and advertising since 1987.

He has been also a reader at Politecnico University of Milan, and a contributor for national radios and newspapers.

His interests and hobbies include reading, hiking, and traveling. He also loves sports such as cycling, running (he run 11 marathons) and scuba diving. He has grown up in Florence and now lives in Milan.
