The Event

Swiatlo i MRock, Poland’s first interactive rock concert where fans had impact to concert formula to decide live whether chosen songs would be performed in a light or dark version.

Co-creation has become a mainstream expectation: 84% of millennials value brands that let them participate and shape outcomes (Deloitte Global Millennial Survey, 2022). Our aim: to create a cultural event unlike any other—a true first co-created rock concert in Poland. Swiatlo i MRock was born from a desire to bridge the gap between artists and audiences—designed by rock icons Katarzyna Nosowska and Piotr Rogucki, it aimed to deliver what millennial fans crave: participation, authenticity, and shared ownership of experience. The goal was to transform passive spectators into co-authors of the show, choosing whether certain songs—both artists’ hits and global rock anthems—would be played in a “light” or “dark” arrangement. This format tapped into a cultural trend: research shows that 73% of 18-to-35-year-olds plan to attend live events in the next six months (Eventbrite, 2025), 78% of millennials prefer spending on experiences over products (G2 Experiential Marketing Statistics, 2023).

Swiatlo i MRock redefined the rock concert as a co-creative experience. Playing on the words swiatlo (light) and mrok (darkness) transforming into mroCk, the format became an immersive journey of contrasts where fans shaped atmosphere in real time. Nosowska and Rogucki, icons since the early 90s, reinterpreted their own hits alongside global anthems from Nirvana and Guns N’ Roses.

Guest stars like Doda (2.1M followers) and Kazik (pioneer of Polish rock, Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for outstanding artistic achievements and promotion of Polish culture) amplified cultural impact.

Light and noise meters let audiences decide whether songs unfolded in “light” or “dark” versions, altering visuals, sound and performance. Even design was reinvented -minimalist, refined and distinctive, elevating the rock experience. This blend of artistry and technology set a new benchmark for participatory live music, turning spectators into co-authors of the event.
