A business and advocacy event aiming for carbon-neutral transport in Europe by 2035, bringing together business leaders, policymakers and decision-makers to co-design a roadmap.
Define, together with 350 industry leaders and European officials, a collective strategy to achieve carbon-neutral mobility in Europe by 2035. Align the visions of businesses, public policies, and civil society organizations to identify synergies and co-design an ambitious roadmap aligned with the Green Deal and the Fit for 55 legislative package.
Apply a back-casting approach: starting from 2035 and mapping short-term actions. Sustainably mobilize the Movin’On community and encourage decision-makers to accelerate the shift toward inclusive and circular mobility.
• Adopting a credible science fiction narrative: starting from 2035, five back-casted scenarios (inclusive mobility, circular economy, intermodal freight transport, multimodal travel, and financing the transition), collectively imagined by 27 CAC 40 companies through over 100 preparatory workshops.
• The event, relocated from Montreal to Brussels to be at the heart of the EU, featured a mix of CEO and European Commissioner panels, an AI-powered photo booth aging participants’ faces by ten years, a participatory mural, and connected badges enabling over 400 targeted connections. The eco-designed event (recycled materials, solvent-free inks, 90% locally rented equipment, electric IDbuz shuttles, etc.) embodied the arc and future mobility trajectories.
