An open, intergenerational, disruptive and impactful platform for dialogue that engages with high-profile international leaders from the health, social, economic, scientific and political spheres.
Under the motto “Re-Humanizing Our World”: Planet, Peace, Politics and People/Health, the Estoril Conferences present a two-day agenda that challenges an open and inclusive dialogue on a more sustainable future, based on more equality, equity, justice and peace. We explored novel paths to pursue and sought out real-world lessons about pushing limits and rising to adversity in order to get fresh views. In addition, we wanted to tell true tales of achievement and victory that left an effect by offering the possibility of a bright future when justice, equality, and peace will be the pillars of our civilizations. Carrying our humanity to the stage of life, by giving voice to those who transform it into impactful action, was the main mission of this event that has been up to now, a biannual event that takes place during the welcoming week. This year the event became annual. This meant that in only 6 months everything had to be assembled, speakers engaged, and the event entirety planned.
The challenge was to transform the school atrium into a main auditorium, where proximity was the main goal, with 3 LED screens, together forming a square and creating a small world inside the atrium. In terms of event brand identity there was a main identity, that was subdivided into 5 others, one for each topic, with 5 different colour layouts. These themes were scenographically present at all the event and in the video content displayed on the main LED wall and in the streaming, identifying which theme was being discussed. This year a new area was created, Humanity Hub, for the partners and sponsors to interact with participants, where a coffee station was set up that allowed more one-on-one connections as well as creating a dynamic flow between the talks and the Humanity Hub. Dedicated specialy to new students, the Humanity Youth Festival on the first night brought to the Campus Garden more than 1,500 students and guests, who danced and enjoyed the sounds of 2 well-known DJs.
