Audiovisual spectacle – Beksinski Live

In the space of halls we presented the paintings of Beksinski, one of the most important representatives of contemporary art in Poland, set in motion and put through the filter of modern technologies.

Beksinski was one of the most important representatives of contemporary art in Poland. His work, filled with apocalyptic visions, constantly intrigues and arouses great emotions.
The master was a great experimenter, reaching for various means of expression, and constantly searching. This openness translated into the form and idea of Beksinski.Live – a project that combines various artists, arts, interpretations & sensitivities.
Inspired by his art and active development of artistic tools and ways, we’ve created Beksinski.Live – the first such event in Poland, combining new technologies (especially AI) with music and a modern approach to the craft of painting.
By using AI as a tool, we’ve decided to continue mission, reaching for new means of expression and made possible to process Beksinski’s works, obtaining intriguing, dynamic transformed into another dimension, but also to give the Master voice he didn’t had before.

Beksinski’s art characterizes the aforementioned artistic direction, his willing use of unusual, dreamlike visions as a primary source of inspiration, gloomy and even apocalyptic references.
His paintings were displayed in such a large format for the first time in history! We show wealth, prosperity, techniques, styles, and motifs, and the evolution of his painting techniques by showing paintings from different stages of his creativity and focusing on the largest, most recognizable, and most spectacular areas, with a total capacity of 18,000 guests, enhancing the synergistic final effect.
We’ve used AI like the previous painter, used a painting brush, in the transformation of paintings but also the creation of the key moments of the script, giving the right pace and sequence to the performance. Beksinski’s voice, created based on saved fragments of his speech and notes, with AI use, resounded among the halls, approaching the event participants and driving the event’s storytelling.
