2024 G7 Heads of State and Government Summit

The 50th G7 Summit, held from June 13 to 15, 2024, in Borgo Egnazia (Puglia), brought together 26 leaders from delegations around the world to discuss topical issues.

Climate change, Artificial Intelligence, and Sustainability were among the main themes underlying the agenda of G7 2024. The 3-day event and the chosen sites were carefully selected and set up to encourage meeting and dialogue on these issues. The choice of Apulia itself was not accidental, as it represents a bridge between West and East, a symbol of tradition and strength, but also of openness and collaboration.
The area was an integral part of both the working and the more playful moments, with the involvement of local suppliers and artists within a program full of moments of encounter with Nature, culture and traditions of the region.

The G7 2024 wanted to give a different connotation to the summit, focusing heavily on the human component, which is crucial for change, and on territoriality, with its products, history and culture. Half of the suppliers involved are small and medium-sized local businesses that excited and surprised the participants at several moments.
The location chosen had the dual role of fostering immersion in the atmosphere of Apulia, but also ensuring a welcoming environment and safety for all those present.
During the 3 days there were numerous opportunities for business meetings, beyond the official agenda, with the creation of 8 bilaterals, and the provision of equipped areas. In parallel, a rich program of cultural and artistic moments of leisure and entertainment was created, with visits to important sites and the performances of local artists.
