UK – Vodafone and Ignite take F1 to Manchester
Ignite created the event on behalf of Vodafone in the centre of Manchester for the mobile firm’s customers to come and experience the excitement of F1. Mclaren F1 driver Jenson Button drove his F1 car through the streets of the city and even indulged in a couple of donuts to wow the crowd.
From the Friday until Monday Vodafone customers and up to three friends were given the chance to access the Vodafone VIP Fan Zone in Albert Square. This area boasted a Go-Kart track, a sit-in Vodafone Mclaren Mercedes car, an F1 simulator and exhibition of race suits and helmets.
