UK – The authentic Italian food journey has returned to Edinburgh
Italian food just got even more exciting as the Birra Moretti Gran Tour has returned for a second summer of great food, beer and company. After kicking off at the Summerhall in Edinburgh on 9th July, the tour will then move to London and end in Leeds in August.
This year’s Gran Tour continues Birra Moretti’s rich heritage in the UK street food movement. Over the past decade, Birra Moretti has been involved with Street Feast, Urban Food Festival, Big Feastival, Pizza in the Piazza and Model Market to name just a few.
The tour brings the UK’s finest Italian street food vendors together under one roof, serving traditional dishes from Italian regions including Campania, Lombardia and Sicilia. There will also be cookery masterclasses to learn the techniques required to cook delicious Italian dishes. All complemented by the crisp refreshing taste of Birra Moretti.
TV chef and event maître d’, Joe Hurd commented: “The Moretti Gran Tour blends all the important aspects of Italian culinary culture, from great ingredients to regional delicacies, alongside the popular street food movement.
