UK – Maynineteen to stage moving fashion for Vogue event

The concept created by Maynineteen for the Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out in Manchester was devised as part of a collaboration between creative director Julie Kavanagh and choreographer Arthur Gourounlian, assisted by Chad Taylor. It will see professional models and dancers from JK Dance perform choreographed routines on the moving catwalk while wearing the latest autumn/winter retail trends.

Katie Coombes, director at Maynineteen, said: “We’re thrilled to be organising such a prestigious fashion event for Manchester. The travelator catwalk concept is really creative and will further show why Manchester Arndale deserves its place as the centre of everything fashion in Manchester.”

A giant digital tweet wall will also be installed by Maynineteen as part of the event to relay live conversations, with attendees invited to use the hashtag #FNO.

Other highlights of the event will include pop-up beauty pods located around the shopping centre offering fashionistas free mini makeovers, as well as the opportunity for attendees to pose for a glamourous magazine front cover photoshoot, which can then be shared via social media.
Everybody taking part in the photoshoot will receive a free printed version to take home.
