SPAIN – Street Art Experience: discover the creative side of a destination
Exploramás brings a new teambuilding activity through urban graffiti art; a fun proposal that immerses participants in the culture of this ephemeral art which in the past dressed walls until cleanup crews removed it. Today, recognized as urban art, it is also an activity for teambuilding.
Recently Exploramás organized this event for 15 guests from Malaga Convention Bureau. This time the goal was to present the destination through an experience that will last over time.
Before getting to “be a graffiti person”, the team toured with an expert in art history and they discovered the different works that are in the Soho area of Malaga, called Barrio de las Artes. They were able to see works by renowned writers as Obey, D-Face, or Boamistura Roa (collective) and other internationally known artists.
The tour ended on the roof of the Contemporary Art Center of Málaga, where the group was divided into two teams that were then involved in a colorful creative battle. The subject was free and their works had to be an expression of the vision of destiny and what they were living in it. To compose their work, they had sprays, stencils, markers, paints … and they made the graffiti on a wall cardboards.
The possibilities of this creative art are numerous: a fun experience that could be organized for different group sizes and that could be performed in open or closed spaces.
