SPAIN – Acciona Producciones y Diseno awarded for the Wu Kingdom Helv Relics Museum project

The immersive spectacle designed and implemented by the company for the Wu Kingdom Helv Relic Museum of the Chinese city of Wuxi has received the international award Red Dot Design Award in the category ‘Space Communication’.

The agency designed the spectacular audiovisual that is located on the ground floor of the museum and forms the culminating moment of the exhibition itin erary. It has the largest immersive and interactive screen in the world up to date (650 m²) that, together with the 400 m² interactive floor and the 250 m² projection screen, takes the visitor on a journey along the five chapters.

Lake Tahiu, the king’s palace, the battle field, the city’s founders and Wu’s landscape make up the settings where the visitors can feel and interact with the spectacular scenes in the history of the Kingdom of Wu.

The multi-media installation has capacity for 3,840 visitors a day. APD’s experience in flow management has been the key to the efficiency of the design.
