SLOVENIA – Travel Zoom will host its Tourism Marketing Conference in Bled

The third Travel Zoom International Conference on Strategic and Creative Marketing in Tourism will be held from 26 to 27 March 2013, in Bled, Slovenia.
It will zoom in on the gaps that occur as obstacles on the path to achieving marketing goals in tourism and will show the way to bridge them by transferring new knowledge and introducing new marketing tools.

The conference program has been carefully crafted to ensure that there are many opportunities for delegates to interact and share ideas on various topics related to marketing in tourism. They will be able to learn from the experts in the business, engage and network with the best travel marketing developers, gain new ideas and create products for their customers, attend workshops, discuss the hot topics in small groups and exchange ideas with leaders in travel business.

From 26 to 27 March, Travel Zoom stage will be filled with experts in the field of marketing and tourism, renowned international academics, successful marketing teams, creators of selling tools and marketing gurus. Klaus – Dieter Koch, Managing Partner at Brand:Trust – Enabling brands to attract people, and José Filipe Torres, Founder of Bloom Consulting from Spain will speak about destination branding. The secrets of successful marketing will be reviled by Magdalena Osmola, Marketing & Communications Manager at ETOA – European Tour Operators Association and Dr. John Heeley, Director of Best Destination Marketing and Associate Lecturer in Tourism at Sheffield Hallam University. Edial Dekker, CEO and co-founder of Gidsy will be rethinking travel and will explain how peer-2-peer changes the way we travel and do business. Sustainability trends will be presented by Pawel Nizinski, CEO of GoodBrand & Community CEE and Jana Apih from GoodPlace, Slovenia. Marketing gurus such as Velibor Zolak, Managing & Creative Director of AMC Communications, Macedonia, will show the delegates how to be creative in tourism. Nastja Mulej, the only Slovenian with a license for teaching deBono’s methods for more creative thinking, will lead the creative thinking workshop. Dimitrios Buhalis, Director of eTourism Lab / Deputy Director at International Centre for Tourism and Hospitality Research (ICTHR) will speak about eTourism Strategic Marketing revolution while Andraž Štalec, CEO of Red Orbit, Slovenia will explain how to catch a digital consumer. The conference will end with round table discussion about the relation between sport events and tourism.
