At the location, a dozen police-actors “invaded” the hall of Lusomundo cinemas, at the same time that sirens and megaphones surprised people present at the shopping centre. A plastic tape delimited the perimeter and the actors team enunciated the messages about Biodiversity drawing on the floor the silhouette of some of the endangered species. To conclude the action, a video was projected as a teaser.

Organized by the European Commission on the International Year of Biodiversity, celebrated in 2010, the initiative was one of the four events that took place at European level and were supplemented with informative materials and promotional gifts about Biodiversity. Besides Lisbon, the member states Hungary, Slovenia and Romania were also a part of this initiative with the same activity happening simultaneously.
