Tata Burduli

Biography

GFF Brand Director Tata Burduli has worked in football marketing for 15 years, and currently curates the development of Georgia’s biggest brand – the national football team. Tata and her team work hard to facilitate the commercialisation of Georgian football, manage the relations with sponsors in this field, promote the national team brand, and turn sports events into memorable experiences for the spectators.

After graduating from the Tbilisi and Moscow State Universities, Tata continued her education at the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration in Lausanne, where she studied sports management, communications and marketing. She is a practicing specialist in sports marketing, and was instrumental in introducing this subject at university level in Georgia. Her course in sports marketing at Caucasus University has been immensely popular among Business Administration Faculty students for more than 5 years.

Tata currently focuses on the Georgian national football team, which made its debut at the UEFA European Championship finals in 2024. Her plans are associated with strengthening the national team brand and turning it into an attractive global product.

In a world of unlimited possibilities, an award-winning event must be impressive, evoke human emotions, and employ technologies to make it a grand occasion full of original solutions.

My advice to the nominees: Think hard about event presentation. It is important that your presentation of the event before the judges is as impressive as the event itself.

For returning jurors only: Being part of the BEA World jury panel is a special honour and responsibility for all specialists in this field. The projects presented before us are always characterised by high quality and professionalism. I am sure that as in the previous years, this year’s nominated projects will offer memorable performances.
