ITALY – Peroni supports the Italian Rugby team at Six Nations with Alphaomega
Peroni, which has worked with FIR (Italian Rugby Federation) since 2005, has renewed its involvement with the ‘oval ball’, as official beer of the Italian Rugby Team.
During the Italian matches for the XIV Six Nations Trophy, that will take place from 2nd February until 16th March 2013, ‘Terzo Tempo Peroni Village’, designed by the brand as a meeting place for all the supporters, will be back at the Olympic Stadium in Rome. Once again, the agency that will manage everything that revolves around the village will be Alphaomega.
“Terzo Tempo Peroni Village represents the spirit and the heart of the village – Alberto Cassone (image), Alpahomega partner, has explained to e20express.it -: starting from the entertainment on stage, which is the focus of the event. There will be coreographies, games and a series of artistic and musical performances. We aim to entertain the audience in a friendly and funny atmosphere. Peroni wants to reflect actively all the values that this sport supports”.
There’s great anticipation for a special event: in fact, 300 Caps have been invited to join the event and make a toast to their glorious careers.
Three matches have been organised: Italy-France on 3rd February, Italy-Wales on 23rd February and Italy-Ireland on 16th February.
From the past edition of Six Nations, which was moved from Flaminio Stadium to the Olympic one, rugby fans have doubled: in 2012, 60.000 people came to the village during the matches and 143.000 supporters filled the stadium, while in 2011, there had been 80.000 people during the games and an audience of 120.000 people at the stadium.
The Italian team will compete to chase a desired victory. Both Peroni and all the supporters will be united under the slogan: ‘For Us who believe in Italy’.
