ITALY – Milan celebrates Christmas in advance with Amazon Prime Now
Not only a space that recreates the home environment and presents all the products that can be purchased through the app, but a real meeting place to attend many events, including readings, signings and workshops.
For Christmas, Amazon Prime Now takes over the streets of Milan and gives life to the Amazon Prime Now Christmas Village, a chalet full of new products to see, touch and purchase through the app.
From 12-18th December, from 11.00 to 21.00, at the Christmas market in Piazza Castello, you can discover what’s new for Christmas: thanks to the app, your order can be delivered in an hour or in a window of two hours in Milan and in 46 municipalities of the hinterland from 8.00 am to midnight, 7 days out of 7, including on 24th December.
From toys to electronics, from books to products for personal care, the chalet will show a wide range of gifts that can also be purchased last minute. All the cooking tools and ingredients, from meat to fresh fish or the culinary specialties from Puglia and Calabria, needed in order to prepare a perfect Christmas dinner will also be presented.
During the week, many guests will animate the Amazon Prime Now chalet: people will have the chance to enjoy a literary reading with writer and poet Guido Catalano on Tuesday 13th December, while on Thursday, December 15th, The Show (youtubers and winners of “Pechino Express”), will talk about their new book “Fallo”. On December 16th, the beautiful voices of a gospel choir will add a touch of magic to the chalet and, of course, there will be also events dedicated to kitchen, music and beauty lovers and special animation for children.
