ITALY – Discovery Home – Upfront by Filmmaster Events

Four nights in two cities: Rome and Milan. For both locations Filmmaster Events took care of contents and scenography, which was created with the most scrupulous attention to details. Inside the two flats, the history of the Discovery family was shown, with videos, pictures and personal objects of the channel’s protagonists.

This innovative event was composed by four nights in two cities, and in two exclusive flats: one in Rome, in via del Porto Fluviale and one in the very center of Milan, in via Dante. For each night, 60 guests have been chosen. Each night was marked by the participation of a famous chef: Chef Rubio in Rome, Michel star chef Viviana Varese of Alice Ristorante and Ernst Knam in Milan0.

The guests have been invited with a handwritten letter, in which there was no address, and a chaffeur took them to the secret location. Once in the car, they received a tablet with a video message by Rubio for Rome and Benedetta Parodi for Milan.

For both locations Filmmaster Events took care of contents and scenography, which was created with the most scrupulous attention to details. Inside the two flats, the history of the Discovery family was shown, with videos, pictures and personal objects of the channel’s protagonists.

The executive managers’ speeches were informal and everyone made his own in his favorite part of the house, in order to blend in the night atmosphere and get rid of the “institutional” effect.

Every night there was a new surprise for the guests: the unexpected participation of Costantino della Gherardesca, Real Time’s last acquisition, and a musical performance with piano, voice and strings, made by the room personnel and the service staff.

The protagonist of the last night was Dynamo, the famous English illusionist, star of the DMAX channel, who entertained the guests in the living room.

Filmmaster Events organized an event in which the protagonists were the guests’ emotions, triggered by direct experiences. The aim of the nights was to leave a mark on our guests, and to make them feel as if they had been invited to a friend’s place.
