INDIA – IIFA AT 25 – A SILVER JUBILEE OF STARDOM, SPECTACLE, AND STORYTELLING
In 2025, the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards marked a historic milestone—25 years of celebrating Indian cinema around the world. More than just an awards ceremony, IIFA@25 served as a powerful statement of India’s cinematic
soft power and the expanding reach of its cultural narrative. Hosted at a stunning international destination, the silver jubilee edition blended nostalgia, innovation, and a reaffirmation of Bollywood’s global resonance.
The event brought together legendary stars, emerging talent, global dignitaries, and media from across continents in a production that redefined entertainment staging.
With a stunning new stage architecture, holographic performances, and multiple formats of storytelling—including cinematic tributes, live concert experiences, and VR-enabled backstage tours—IIFA@25 pushed the boundaries of how cinema and
celebration could be experienced.
What truly set this edition apart was its curated narrative. It was not just about awards—it reflected Indian cinema’s journey of identity, inclusion, and influence.
From showcasing regional cinematic brilliance to spotlighting India’s rising generation of actors, technicians, and storytellers, IIFA@25 was a tapestry woven with purpose.
Parallel to the glitz, conversations were hosted around the business of cinema, the evolving grammar of storytelling in the age of AI and streaming, and the role of film in shaping societal dialogue. Thought leaders from the fields of media, fashion, music, and academia came together to unpack the larger cultural implications of Bollywood’s global rise.

As EEMA, we were proud support such legacy projects – especially when the founding members of the association are at the helm of such initiates. IIFA@25 was not only a celebration of 25 glorious years but a reaffirmation of India’s rising cultural
capital. Through world-class production, cross-cultural collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, IIFA continued to position Indian cinema not just as entertainment, but as a carrier of India’s global voice.
