FRANCE – Monograno Felicetti for Davide Scabin’s performance in Bilbao

To support the market launch of New Twingo, Renault is creating a unique and entertaining artistic experience: four artists of different genres and nationality were asked to set up a cabinet of curiosities inside the cabin of Twingo as part of an exercise in free expression.

The line up: French fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, a man of multiple talents, Italian chef Davide Scabin renowned for his creative cooking, UK singer Nicola Roberts, queen of the charts, and pragmatic German designer, Nils Holger Moormann, who finds new uses for everyday objects.

06The Italian chef created ‘Renault Scabin Pasta Twingo’, which boasts interior trim made from pasta and a fully stocked larder. Scabin chose Monograno Felicetti‘s pasta to cover up the seats of the car without changing its aspect and style. In addiction to this, the boot of the car contains a screen that shows a 3D video.

The ‘Scabin Pasta Twingo‘ movie is the first audiovisual content by Davide Scabin. Filmed at Combal.Zero, the restaurant where he works, the video shows some new recipes created by the chef exclusively for Monograno Felicetti. In the installation, music plays a big role as well.

The four Cabinets of Curiosities have been on show in Bilbao (Spain) between 1 and 22 December, coinciding with the international press road tests. Davide Scabin’s creation will be at Renault showroom in Paris until 22 January.
