European Bea, here are the winners of the 2013 edition

The winners of theEuropean Award created by ADC Group have been announced during the ceremony, which took place on Tuesday 26th November at Museo della scienza e della Tecnologia in Milan in the context of Bea Expo Festival, the two-day event dedicated to the event industry.

This edition saw the participation of 104 entries by 63 agencies. The events were judged in the beautiful island of Malta by a jury composed by 28 representatives from agencies, companies, media and associations, and chaired by Michael Mueller, marketing and communication manager at Samsung. 

For the third year, the ceremony was hosted by Kris&Kris

THE PODIUM

Among the 104 projects included in the European Events Annual (that automatically take part in EuBEA), 60 were shortlisted. Among these, the jury, that gathered on 12th October in Malta island, chose to give the Golden Elephant to the German agency Heimat for the project ‘All eyes on the S4‘, realised for Swisscom and belonging to the category ”Product launch”.

Swisscom asked for an interactive Promotion to launch the Samsung Galaxy S4 with a big bang. The aim was to raise awareness on the new features of the S4 and to give out 10.000 vultures on the S4 and 40 free Samsung Galaxy S4s.

At second place came OLYMPUS OM-D: Photography Playground: Vitamin_e developed a presentation that was unique, innovative and creative, just like the camera itself. Under the motto of “Create your own world”, 12 international artists turned an area of 7,000 m² at the old opera workshops in Berlin Mitte into an interactive exhibition on the subject of “Space and Art.”. It was a Photography Playground of the senses, an experiment involving realities, observation, and their representation.

At third place came another German agency, Facts and Fiction, with a spatial translation of the Bayer mission of “Science For A Better Life“.
